NEW YORK CITY — The red carpet was rolled out at Lincoln Center Monday night for the premiere of the highly anticipated movie “Deadpool & Wolverine,” where the beloved superheroes team up in a cinematic event fans have eagerly awaited.
As one of the most anticipated movies of the year, “Deadpool & Wolverine” drew an elaborate crowd, with fans in elaborate costumes gathering outside the David H. Koch Theater in New York City to catch a glimpse of the stars.
Eyewitness News entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo interviewed actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, who portray Deadpool and Wolverine, respectively. She asked if they had any messages for each other now that the film is finally premiering.
“We actually said it to each other, which is ‘slow down, feel your feet on the ground and take this in,'” Jackman shared.
“I think the exact words were, ‘slow down, you move too fast, you gotta make the moment last,'” Reynolds added.
Without giving away any spoilers, the movie features “Deadpool & Wolverine” teaming up to defeat a common enemy. This film is about friendship and teamwork, featuring some fan favorites returning to the big screen.
